A recent scientific study revealed that the substance of the roosters, which is a common use in herbal pesticides in the United States, may cause severe damage to the body’s vital organs, and is evacuated by the balance of beneficial bacteria in the intestine, which threatens public health in the long term.

According to the Guardian newspaper, the roosters are widely used in American chrome and orchards, and is considered a substitute for controversial materials such as glexat and barlakawat, although the material is already banned in the United Kingdom, the European Union, China, and several other countries, due to its health and environmental risks.

A greater threat of glephosate

According to the study, the decorations may be more toxic than glexos, as it harms the lining of the intestine by reducing the levels of proteins that maintain their safety, which facilitates the transmission of toxins and bacteria to the bloodstream, and the decorations weaken the intestinal immunity and prevent the absorption of nutrients and energy metabolism.

The review indicated direct effects on the liver, kidneys, and lungs, as it causes irreversible structural damage, in addition to infections that may lead to a defect in multiple organs, which is a serious health condition.

Criticism of the American regulatory bodies

Despite the escalation of scientific evidence, the American Environmental Protection Agency (EPA) has not recently reviewed the assessment of the decoys material, in light of internal resistance to its prohibition, according to the study. New fixtures of the Round August are put up in the markets containing roosters, despite the prohibition of gvsusat in a number of countries.

In this context, Nathan Donley, Director of Science at the Center for Biological Diversity, said that the roosters are more harmful than glexat than the public health perspective, noting that the current organizational situation allows what he described as unfortunate replacement; Any replacement of a toxic substance with another harmful substance.

Donley added that the weak American laws on pesticides make it difficult to impose an effective ban, even when the evidence is available, and he explained: We are still in the United States we are facing health and environmental battles that Europe previously gained more than 20 years ago.

For its part, Bayer, which has acquired the original producer of Monsanto, faces thousands of lawsuits related to the damage of its products on the health of users. The International Cancer Research Agency has classified the gvsusat as a potential cancer, which prompted Bayer to reformulate some of its products.

Nevertheless, Bayer has not yet issued any official comment regarding what was stated in the recent study on decoys.

At the conclusion of their studies, the researchers recommended that additional research should be conducted, especially to assess the effects of low and chronic exposure to decoys on humans, noting that the majority of current studies have been conducted on rodents.
