The Egyptian U -19 volleyball team continued its negative results in the world championship currently held in Uzbekistan during the period from July 24 to August 4, after suffering a fifth consecutive loss, this time came by the Portorico team with three clean runs, in one of the biggest surprises of the championship.

The fall was not a new defeat in front of Puerto Rico.
With this result, the Egyptian team is competing for the centers from 21 to 24, which is the worst center in its history in the world championships for this age group, which opens the door to wide questions about the reality and future of Egyptian volleyball at the junior level.
The youth of the Pharaohs won in the first round of the Tunisian team 3-0, before they lost to the Spanish team 3-1 in the second round, then they lost again against the Italian team with three clean goals, followed by the loss against the Iranian team with the same result, and finally the defeat against the Polish team 3-0.
The technical staff of the Pharaohs include: Brazilian Percy Onkn, a general supervisor of youth and junior teams, Hani Moselhi, a technical director, Mustafa Hilal, General Coach, Ahmed Saeed, a technical analyst, Mohamed Younis as a doctor for the national team.
