The Arab Basketball Federation announced the participation of 7 teams in the twenty -sixth Arab Championship competitions for men, which will be hosted by the Kingdom of Bahrain during the period from July 25 to August 2.
Both Bahrain, Kuwait, the Emirates, Qatar, Egypt, Algeria and Tunisia will participate in the championship competitions, as the seven teams were confirmed in the past few hours.
The championship draw will be held online next Monday, July 21, where the championship system is expected to be held from one role during which the seven teams will face.
The Kingdom of Bahrain obtained the right to host the twenty -sixth edition of the Arab Championship for the National Men’s Basketball Teams after the Tunisian Federation apologized for organizing the event, as Bahrain obtained hosting this great Arab forum after the Bahrain Basketball Federation submitted an urgent request to the Arab Federation to host the championship, in implementation of the vision of His Highness Sheikh Khalid bin Hamad Al Khalifa, First Vice President of the Supreme Council for Youth and Sports, Chairman of the General Authority for Sports Bahraini, to attract and attract the most prominent sporting demonstrations to the Kingdom.
The Kingdom of Bahrain has all the ingredients necessary to host the various sports tournaments, in light of its prominent reputation in hosting and organizing championships at the Gulf, Arab and continental levels.
