The General Administration of Identity and Foreigners Affairs in Dubai revealed that the “visual communication” service received 52,212 calls during the first half of this year, which included various management services, most notably 42,433 contacts related to entry and residence permissions, 5,782 calls to the facility services, and 2,850 calls regarding financial services procedures, along with 1,147 contacts with passport services. She emphasized that the service represents a qualitative shift in providing smart government services, and its effectiveness has proven to enhance the efficiency of completing transactions, without the need for personal attendance, and that it succeeded in responding to all contacts, including those concerned with golden residence, humanitarian cases, and legal consultations
