The Directorate of Supply and Internal Trade in Luxor Governorate, in the context of the state’s efforts to protect the health of citizens and confront the phenomenon of circulating of corrupt food, managed to seize a large amount of poultry and the particles of corrupt poultry unknown source, inside one of the refrigerators of the freezing of freezers in the Karnak area in Bandar Al -Aqasr, before re -introducing them in the markets and restaurants.
400 kg of anonymous poultry without data
The campaign resulted in the seizure of the owner of a frozen refrigerator for possession of 400 kg of poultry and the partisanship of corrupt poultry, which was preserved inside plastic bags without any data explaining the date of production or completion, as it was found that its natural properties changed, which confirms that it is not suitable for consumption.


The seizures were seized and the necessary legal measures were taken.
The supply intensifies its campaigns on the markets to counter the trading of anonymous food
This campaign came based on the instructions of Dr. Sharif Farouk, Minister of Supply and Internal Trade, and the assignment of Eng. Abdel Muttalib Amara, Governor of Luxor, of the necessity of tightening control over markets and shops, preventing the circulation of food that is not suitable for human consumption, and following up the quality of municipal bakeries production.

The campaign also came in implementation of the directives of Dr. Tamer Salah Mukhtar, Undersecretary of the Ministry of Supply in Luxor, of the necessity of intensifying inspection campaigns on commercial activities, in order to control the ration violations and ensure that everyone adheres to the laws and decisions regulating.
New violations in municipal bakeries
In the same context, the campaign monitored a number of violations in the municipal bakery sector, where a bakery that produced breads is not identical to the specifications, in addition to three other violations related to the lack of loaf weight, the absence of a sensitive balance, and the lack of operating list for the bakery.
Campaign continues to control the markets
The Directorate of Supply in Luxor confirmed that the supervisory campaigns are continuing during the coming period on all commercial activities to ensure the safety of the products offered in the markets, and to control any violations that affect the health and safety of citizens.
