The National Guard Command announced the implementation of 347 rescue operations on land and sea, inside and outside the country during the first half of 2025, as part of continuous efforts to strengthen the national response system and raise the readiness of search and rescue teams at the state level. According to the statistics, the National Center for Research and Rescue carried out 218 operations, which included 63 search, rescue and medical evacuation missions, and 18 tasks to transport patients through air ambulance inside the country, in addition to 13 missions for medical transport and air ambulance outside the country, while the Coast Guard Group carried out 129 search and rescue operations in the waters of the Arab Gulf and the Sea of Oman.
