The company said that its sales rose in some other areas, including Latin America and Asia.
The company’s revenues increased by less than 1% to $ 22.7 billion during the period from April to June.

Pepsico’s net income for the second quarter of the year amounted to $ 1.26 billion, or 92 American cents per share, a decrease of $ 3.08 billion, or $ 2.23 per share, in the previous year.
