Earlier, the table tennis federation officially ended the controversy, regarding the crisis of the Al -Ahly players, Youssef Abdel Aziz and Khaled Asr, with the right of the red castle to involve the players during the competitions of the last assembled round of the league, confirming that the Enppi Club is not entitled to object to their participation.
The decision came after a period of tension and attraction, which witnessed the delay of some members of the federation in favor of the Enppi Club, according to informed sources, despite the clarity of the fatwa of the Olympic Committee, which confirmed the safety of Al -Ahly’s legal position in the registration of the players, and the source indicated that the procrastination came out of personal favoritism of the president of Enppi Club, Ayman Al -Sharia.
Al -Ahly was keen to remain silent throughout the crisis, based on the legal position issued by the Olympic Committee, while emphasizing its full confidence in the participation of its players during the most important stage in the league, which is the last combined session.
