“Works”: The completion of 4 exchange projects in Al -Hadd, Al -Ma’amir, the village, and Hadhafs with 5.3 million

The Ministry of Works revealed the completion of 4 sewage projects at a cost of 5,340,625 dinars (five million three hundred and forty thousand six hundred and twenty five dinars), explaining that the projects include: the project of establishing the sewage network in the complex 109 and 113 in the Al -Hadd area in Muharraq Governorate, the project of expansion and deepening the Ma’er channel, and the sanitation project for the village area complex 551, and the project of establishing a network Sanitation at the 424 complex in Jidhafs.

According to the details published on the official account of the Ministry of Works, the project of establishing the sewage network in the complex 109 and 113 in the Al -Hadd area contributes to providing this vital service for 150 properties, and includes the establishment of a main sewage line with a length of 2400 meters, and sub -sewage lines of 1900 meters, in addition to the construction of 308 main and subsidiary checkpoints, and the completion of all the required works and paving the roads in which the project was carried out.

The project was awarded by the Board of Tender and Auctions on Arad Construction Company, and it is estimated at 1,296,000 dinars (one million two hundred and ninety -six thousand).

The Ministry of Works confirmed that it aims, through sanitation projects, to preserve public health by providing networks and transport lines with modern technologies, to expand the Department of beneficiaries of this important service.

The ministry indicated that the “Mawareer TV expansion” project is one of the projects to improve the environmental situation in Tubli Bay, and aims to improve the flow of water in it. The project includes the expansion of the channel with a length of 750 meters and a width of 180 meters, in addition to digging it to a depth of two meters, with the aim of improving the movement of water flow from the southern side, which contributes to increasing the flow of water to Tubli Bay and improving the quality of water.

The construction works of the project also include increasing the length of the current channel by 24 meters from the north and south, bringing the total length to 100 meters, in addition to the expansion of the waterway by creating parallel tubes of 100 meters, so that the total width of the stream is 70 meters. The number of tubes is 12 tubes, and each tube is 1.2 meters. This project comes in implementation of the government’s tendencies to improve the environment and preserve marine resources, and is part of the implementation of previous environmental studies recommendations.

The project was awarded by the Board of Tender and Auctions on the contractor, Sayyid Kazem Al -Darazi, at a value of 2,082,625.27 BD.

The Ministry of Works has completed the implementation of the sewage project for the village area, complex 551, and the delivery of 250 houses to the sewage service, at a cost of 1.4 million dinars. She explained that the project comes within the government’s directions to advance the infrastructure in the northern province, and in an effort to provide a healthy health environment to citizens, by connecting the village area to the main sewage network.

The ministry indicated that the project included an extension of 4.9 km from the main lines and 2.7 km from the sub -lines, in addition to building two pumping stations. She said that the project aims to meet the needs of citizens by providing sewage services to the people of the region, noting that its purpose is to establish a treatment plant with modern technologies and a suitable design capacity that is compatible with the amount of sewage flows coming to it.

While the Ministry has completed the work of the project to establish the sewage network in the 424 complex in the Jidhafs area, which comes within the efforts to develop infrastructure and expand the category of beneficiaries of sanitation services, where the project serves 126 properties.

The project included the construction of a pumping station to transport the flows resulting from the complex (424), the establishment of a major sewage line of 1.6 km, a 1.3 km sub -sewage line, in addition to the construction of 163 inspection rooms, and the completion of all the work required to pave the roads that fall within the project limits.

The ministry indicated that it has developed a plan to keep pace with the urban expansion witnessed by the Kingdom in various governorates, by connecting various properties from homes and buildings and linking them to the sewage network, which contributes to providing a healthy and safe environment for the residents.

It is noteworthy that the project has been awarded by the Board of Tenders and Auctions on the Gulf Horizons for Pregnant and Equipment Holding Company, at a total cost of 562,000 dinars (five hundred and sixty -two thousand Bahraini dinars).
