Engineer Hani Abu Rida, Chairman of the Football Association Board of Directors, returns to Cairo in the coming hours from the United States of America, in conjunction with the end of the first round of the Club World Cup.
The president of the Football Association returns to Cairo within hours
Abu Raida traveled to the United States since the middle of this month to attend the opening of the World Cup clubs, which was held on June 14, along with attending the first round of the tournament, as a member of the FIFA Council.
Abu Raida supervised the matches of the Club World Cup, which was held in New Jersey City, as part of the World Cup group stage.
It is expected that the Football Association will decide a number of important decisions after Abu Raida returns from the United States, as it is expected that the preparation programs for youth and youth teams will be approved in preparation for participating in the World Cup for these two stages.
In addition to this, it is expected that the position of the senior league referees will be decided on the age of 45 years, whether by agreeing to renew them for an additional season, or thank them for what they have provided throughout the past seasons during their arbitration career.
It is also expected that the Board of Directors of the Football Association will be decided after the return of Abu Raida, the file of the new coach for the first women’s football team, after the departure of coach Ahmed Ramadan to take over the training of the Wadi Degla Club team.
