Israeli media said that the phone call that took place on Monday evening between Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu and US President Donald Trump focused on the Iranian nuclear file and the war in Gaza.

The newspaper “Yediot Aharonot” reported that the conversation between the two, which lasted for about 40 minutes, “dealt with the Iranian issue in light of the ongoing talks between Tehran and Washington on a new nuclear agreement.”

The call also touched on the case of the prisoners detained in Gaza “at a time when negotiations on reaching the deal reached a dead end,” according to the Israeli newspaper.

The Israeli opposition and the families of the prisoners accuse Netanyahu of continuing the war in response to the right -wing wing in his government, to achieve his personal political interests, especially his continuation of power.

Tel Aviv estimated the presence of 56 Israeli prisoners in Gaza, including 20 neighborhoods.

Netanyahu is scheduled to hold a mini -security evaluation over the backdrop of his call with Trump, according to “Yediot Aharonot.”

The newspaper said: “Iran stated earlier today (Monday) that it will make an anti -conditions that the United States set on the new nuclear agreement,” the newspaper said.

She added: “Since April, Washington and Tehran have held 5 rounds of talks, but it seems that negotiations have now reached a dead end, due to differences between the two parties about Iran’s ability to continue to enrich uranium.”

In a related context, the Israeli private channel, “Channel 14”, said that the main axis of the call between Netanyahu and Trump “was the Iranian file, against the background of what appears to be a negative response expected from Tehran to the American proposal related to the nuclear agreement.”

And she added, “About two months ago, the US President announced that he would give 60 days to conduct negotiations with Iran, but after only 3 days this deadline will end.”

The channel pointed out that Trump “is not planning to launch a direct attack on Iran, and it does not allow Israel to carry out an immediate attack as soon as the final deadline ends.”

She said: “In Israel, there were fears of the draft proposal presented by the United States to the Iranians, but the hope now is that the Iranians, through their rejection, will carry out the mission on behalf of us.”

Last week, Trump wrote in a post on the “Sushial Look” platform: “In my opinion, Iran deliberately delays its decision on this issue very important, and it will have to make a decisive and clear decision in a very short time.”

The United States, its ally Israel and other countries accuse Iran of seeking to produce nuclear weapons, while Tehran says its program is designed for peaceful purposes, including generating electricity.

Israeli media say Tel Aviv is a blow to Iranian nuclear facilities, despite Washington’s opposition.
