The Iranian Foreign Minister, Abbas Araqji, answered a question about the war in Gaza and what Egypt and Iran can offer as two regional strengths to stop this war.
He said during a meeting with the journalist Khaled Ashour, on the Cairo news channel: “We support the efforts made by Egypt and Qatar to achieve the ceasefire in Gaza, and we have continuous consultations with the countries of the region in this regard, and we hope that we can reach a just solution to the Palestinian issue.

He added: “We have close views with Egypt, especially with regard to the Palestinian issue and the rights of the Palestinian people, as well as the situation in Gaza and the West Bank, in addition to the situation in Syria, Yemen and Lebanon, in addition to the nuclear negotiations between Iran and the United States, and we have agreed to hold continuous consultations in all these files.
