Al -Azhar University Hospital in Assiut announced the reception of 2574 patients on outpatients for free during the free 3 months of the external clinics for free, during the month of March, April and May.

Dr. Mohamed Abdel -Malik, Deputy Vice President of Al -Azhar University for Upper Egypt, said that the hospital received during the past three months 2574 patients, in the outpatient of the free, in continuation of the presentation of Al -Azhar University Hospital in Assiut, specialized health services for the people of Upper Egypt, according to the university’s plan headed by His Excellency Professor Dr. Salama Dawood, President of Al -Azhar University, and the follow -up of Dr. Mahmoud Siddiq, Vice President of the University for Graduate Studies, General Supervisor of the University Hospitals Sector.
Dr. Ibrahim Shaalan, Dean of the Faculty of Medicine, Chairman of the University Hospital’s Board of Directors in Assiut, added that the past three months have witnessed success and achievements for Al -Azhar Hospital in Assiut in providing many medical and health services to those who are reluctant to it, in addition to sparing them the hardship and travel costs of Cairo to receive treatment services that the hospital provides efficiently.
Dr. Mahmoud Seddik, Vice President of the University for Graduate Studies, the General Supervisor of the University Hospital Sector, praised the efforts made by the medical teams at Assiut University Hospital, stressing the importance of the societal role played by Al -Azhar University, along with the educational and research role, and thanked the hospital administration headed by Dr. Ibrahim Shaalan, Dean of the Faculty of Medicine and Chairman of the Hospital Board of Directors, for medical teams, nursing and employees; For the health care and medical services they provide to patients.
