Mohamed Omar said in statements to Cairo 24: The truth is that I contacted Magdy Abdel -Ati more than once in order to solve the problem, and he told me more than a week ago that he would communicate with me, but until that moment he did not communicate with me, then we were surprised to train him for the Modern Sport team.
He added: The Alexandrian Federation maintains its rights under a signed contract between the two parties and this contract indicates that Majdi Abdel -Ati continues with the team until the next season, the truth is that we are dealing with contracts, and the club does not have to neglect its rights, especially with the presence of a central accounting apparatus that conducts a periodic review and requests the penalty clause of the coach’s contract, these are purely legal matters, so we followed the legal method.
He continued: Everyone was in contact with Magdy Abdel -Ati, and Professor Mohamed Salama, the acting president of the club, was in contact with him, along with the director of players’ affairs, and we sent someone from the committee who tried to communicate with him, but he did not respond and did not respond, and we talked with his assistant to inform him of the necessity of communicating with us immediately and this did not happen, so it was necessary to file a complaint to preserve our rights.
He concluded: We want to reach a solution that satisfies both parties, and we are ready that a natural concession will occur between us.
