An official source at the Ministry of Higher Education and Scientific Research revealed the date for the launch of capacity tests for high school students, explaining that the exams will start immediately after the end of high school exams, in colleges that are required to admit to passing qualified capabilities tests, continuing: The preparation of question models to prepare test banks has started, while providing more than one model for each test due to their distribution over several days.
The source pointed out, in statements to Cairo 24, that the capacity tests for the current year will be conducted with the same mechanism of previous years, with new controls and strategies by the sector committees, aimed at discovering real talents among students and giving them a broader space to express their capabilities, in a way that contributes to their rehabilitation to join colleges appropriate to their capabilities.
Capacity exams
Earlier, the Supreme Council for Education and Student Affairs held its periodic meeting headed by Dr. Mustafa Refaat, Secretary of the Supreme Council of Universities, in the presence of a number of university presidents, and members of the Council of university presidents for education and students affairs, at the headquarters of the Supreme Council of universities.
The council discussed the book of the heads of the sector committees concerned with performing capacity tests, and reviewed the evidence of capacity tests for the academic year 2025/2026, for admission to colleges: applied arts, fine arts, music education, art education, and colleges of sports science, including the most prominent updates that have occurred on these evidence.
Dr. Al -Sayed Qandil, President of Helwan University and Chairman of the Supreme Committee to Supervision of Capacity Examinations for the academic year 2025/2026, reviewed the most important instructions for preparing questions for questions for tests of the capabilities of the arts and musical education sectors, which included achieving balance, and choosing general topics derived from daily life, with the proportion of these topics with the current time and modern developments.
