The Egyptian Professional Clubs Association continues its arrangements in preparation for the new football season 2025 – 2026, whose competitions will start next August 8.
Trend to hold the new season of the new season, July 20
Cairo 24 learned that there is a trend within the Clubs Association to determine on July 20 this date to withdraw the draw for the new season of the Premier League championship, which kicks off with the participation of 21 teams.
The deadline granted by the Egyptian Professional Clubs Association for the Premier League clubs ended to present its proposals and perceptions regarding the amendments that can be made to the Premier League championship list in the new season.
Sources for Cairo 24 revealed that the Club Association received proposals for amendments to the Premier League list presented by only 3 clubs out of 21 clubs participating in the new season of the Premier League competition.
The sources pointed out that the three clubs that made amendments to the Premier League list are Zamalek, Al -Ahly and Zed FC.
The first stage of the league starts with a periodic system from one role in which all the teams face once, and at the end of the first stage, the league teams will be divided into two groups the first group that includes the first 7 positions in the first stage, and these clubs compete for the league title, while the 14 clubs compete in the second group to land, knowing that 4 teams will decline at the end of the next season.
