Tom Cruise achieved a new record in the Guinness Book of Records to perform the largest number of jumps in the umbrella burning by an individual, with a jump number of 16 leaps.
This bold achievement was carried out during the filming of the movie “The Impossible Mission – the Final Account”, the eighth part of the famous series.
“Tom not only embodies the action heroes, but he is a real action hero!”. Glendai added that Cruz’s focus on realism and pushing the limits of what the hero can do is what makes his success distinctive, expressing his pride in honoring him with this record.
The dangerous jumps included: Cruz jumped from a helicopter with its umbrella as it burns with fire, and these dangerous movements were carefully coordinated with its team.
In a video behind the scenes, it was posted by Paramount Pictures, Cruz appears while discussing the details of the jumps with the coordinators of dangerous movements, as he said frankly, that the umbrella if it femininity during its burning, may revolve in a non -controlled manner and is exposed to burns.
Despite the risks, Cruz stressed that he wanted to be “very smart”, not “risks”, and added with a sarcastic smile: “Of course we do not venture.”
The video displays all the 16 jumps made by Cruz with a quick sequence, while playing the famous music for the “impossible mission” series in the background.
Beyond fiery jumps, Cruz has always pushed excitement in other scenes, including his remarkable performance during the Olympic Games last summer. His practical approach to action scenes made it not just actor but a real action hero in the world of cinema.
