The House of Representatives referred the final version of the draft law to practice the pharmacy profession to the Presidency of the Republic, after permanently approval of the project, as it is expected that a Republican decision to ratify the law will be issued to enter into force.

Below is the full text of the final version of the law:
Article 2:
The registry of the ministry specialized in health affairs is restricted by those who have a bachelor’s degree in pharmacy from an Egyptian university or a scientific degree equivalent to it by the Supreme Council of Universities, and that compulsory training is for a year to practice the pharmacy profession temporarily in a university hospital, hospitals, pharmaceutical institutions or training units approved by the Supreme Council of Universities after the approval of the Supreme Council for University Hospitals, under the supervision of faculties in colleges Pharmacy, or those who agree with the Supreme Council of Universities to assign them for this purpose of pharmacists and hospital doctors and units mentioned, and specifies the controls for adopting training places and its conditions a decision issued by the minister concerned with higher education affairs after taking the opinion of the minister concerned with health affairs.
In all cases, it is required to obtain a license to practice the pharmacy profession, that the applicant for the license successfully passes the test held by the Egyptian Health Council for Rehabilitation, practicing the pharmacy profession in accordance with the provisions of the Law on the Establishment and Organization of the Egyptian Health Council issued by Law No. 12 of 2022
Article 3
During the period of compulsory training, the trainee gives a monthly training reward of 2500 pounds, and the reward stipulated in the first paragraph of this article may be increased according to a decision of the Prime Minister based on the offer of the minister concerned with higher education affairs or Sheikh | Al -Azhar, according to the circumstances, after the approval of the Minister of Finance.
Article 5:
The registration student in the registration is submitted to the ministry specialized in health affairs, a applicant for his photographic image and signed by him, in which he shows his name, title, nationality and place of residence, and accompanies the origin of the degree certificate or an official copy of it, a certificate of completing compulsory training and the certificate of examination of the pharmacy profession, and the receipt of his registration fee in the Pharmacists Syndicate table
The student of the registration must perform a fee for the registration of the registration of the ministry specialized in health affairs Its amount of one hundred pounds, and the name of the pharmacist, his nickname, nationality, place of residence is restricted in the record, the date of the degree obtained, the authority issued by it, and the date of the certificate of examination of the pharmacy profession.
The licensee in practicing the pharmacy profession is given free of charge from this restriction, attached to his image, and he must save this extractor in the institution in which the profession is practiced and submitted at any request from the Egyptian Medicine Authority inspectors.
Article 19: First paragraph:
Each pharmacy institution is running at least a year in practicing the pharmacy profession in a government or private pharmacy institution, after completing the compulsory training stipulated in Article 2 of this law.
Article 27:
No people stipulated in Articles 19, 20, and 23 of this law may interfere in preparing or disbursing medical tickets, or selling pharmaceutical preparations to the public.

The registration referred to in Article 2 of Law No. 2019 of 1955 referred to as graduates with a bachelor’s degree in pharmacy who joined the College of Pharmacy as of the academic year 2019/2020 and spent a year of training within the study period to obtain this degree in the academic year 2024/2025 and the provisions of Law No. 137 of 1955 referred to.
