On June 7, 2024, the United Nations announced that the year 2025 is the scientific year for quantitative science and technology. In this regard, we are pleased to offer why this interest by the United Nations in this field of science after 100 years have passed since the discovery of quantum mechanics.

It is known that classic mechanics, based on Newton’s laws, and classic electrodism, are based on Maxwell equations, providing very accurate predictions of physical systems in our daily lives, such as the movement of car planets, aircraft, ships or electrical circuit behavior.

However, with the beginning of scientists exploring the microscopic world in the late nineteenth century and the beginning of the twentieth century, multiple phenomena have emerged that classic theories were unable to explain, which necessitated the development of a new theoretical framework.

For example, when the atoms are heated or excited, they are exporting light at separate wavelengths, and not within a continuous spectrum as classic physics expected, which led to the emergence of what is known as linear spectra (such as the hydrogen atom spectrum), a phenomenon that the classic theory was not able to explain.

Also, according to the classic electrodinism, the electron that revolves around the nucleus of the atom should be constantly raising radiation, which leads to the gradual loss of his energy and then its fall in the nucleus, but this does not actually happen; The atoms are stable, and the electrons do not collapse into the nucleus. This contradicts the practical reality.

Among the phenomena that failed in its interpretation is the classical theory, “the phenomenon of radiation from a black body” where classical physics expected that the severity of the radiation will increase without limits at high frequencies, while it is known as the disaster of UV rays.

Max Planck solved this problem by assuming that the energy is radiant in separate packages (Quanta), not continuously. This discovery was the first indication that energy is not continuing at atomic levels, but rather comes in quantities.

Accordingly, the quantum mechanics is one of the most successful physical theories ever, and it constitutes the scientific basis for many technologies that we depend on in our daily life, as they are used to operate the fine slides in computers and smartphones. It is a pivotal tool in the areas of communication, medicine, and industry, and the quantum spinning wrapping feature is used in MRI.

As for the basic principles on which quantum mechanics depends is the principle of non -identification and the principle of quantum overlap, which was the cause of the discovery of the so -called quantum computers, the transfer of particles in a safe way, coding and quantum coding. It was also a reason for the discovery of quantitative solar cells and quantitative batteries, which helps to develop and provide clean energy systems.

And the phenomenon of quantitative tangle played a fundamental role in the technology of quantitative guidance from a precise way in an accurate way and we cannot lose the directed body, no matter how far the distances or the environmental conditions changed.

Finally, what has been mentioned about quantum mechanics and some of its applications is an ovarian relief. There are still many in this flag.

Therefore, we really have to celebrate quantum mechanics and shed light on the importance of this branch of science and encourage researchers to dive into this field, which is always renewed and keeping pace with modern technological developments.
