Ambassador Khaled Youssef Al -Jalahmah, Undersecretary of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs for Political Affairs, participated in the work of the fifty -first session of the Council of Foreign Ministers of Member States of the Organization of Islamic Cooperation, which was held in Istanbul in the Turkish Republic during the period from 21 to 22 June 2025, under the slogan “The Organization of Islamic Cooperation in a changing world”.
The Undersecretary of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs for Political Affairs delivered a speech during the meeting, in which he conveyed the keenness of the Kingdom of Bahrain, led by His Majesty King Hamad bin Isa Al Khalifa, the King of the Great Country, may God protect and preserve him, and the support of His Royal Highness Prince Salman bin Hamad Al Khalifa, Crown Prince, Prime Minister, may God protect him, to enhance the process of joint Islamic action and cooperation between member states, in a way that contributes to protecting common interests and achieving security, stability and prosperity in the Islamic world.
He affirmed the Kingdom of Bahrain’s keenness to support the goals of the Organization of Islamic Cooperation, foremost of which is the strengthening of solidarity and solidarity between member states, and defending Islamic rights and interests, again the Kingdom’s steadfast and supportive position of Islamic issues, especially the Palestinian issue.
The Undersecretary of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs for Political Affairs also expressed the Kingdom of Bahrain’s deep concern about the military escalation in the region, stressing the importance of adopting dialogue and diplomatic means to settle disputes in a way that enhances security and regional and international stability.
His Excellency Sheikh Ali bin Abdul Rahman Al Khalifa, Ambassador of the Kingdom of Bahrain to the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia, the permanent representative of the Kingdom to the Organization of Islamic Cooperation, and Mr. Hatem Abdel Hamid Hatem, head of the organizations sector at the Ministry of Foreign Affairs.
