The referral order stated that the defendants from the first to the tenth held leadership positions within a terrorist group, which was established in contrast to the provisions of the law, and aims to use force and violence to destabilize public order, threaten the safety and security of society, and harm national unity and social peace, in addition to disrupting the work of public authorities and state institutions.
The referral order indicated that the group took violence as a means to achieve its purposes, and that the defendants played a pivotal role in managing what is known as the group’s administrative structure, within a regulatory framework aimed at reviving the group’s activity within the country.
