Syria announced temporarily closure of airspace in light of the tension in the region, which comes after extensive Israeli strikes against Iran targeting military and nuclear sites and killed prominent military leaders.

The head of the Syrian Civil Aviation Authority said that Al -Sulaibi witnessed in statements carried by the Syrian official news agency, that a temporary closed of the Syrian atmosphere has been closed until three o’clock this afternoon, Damascus time, in the context of the precautionary measures that we take to ensure the safety of the civil aviation movement, amid the current regional developments.
Earlier, the Israeli occupation army said that an operation bearing the name of the nation of lions has been launched against Iran, explaining that dozens of targets across Iran linked to the nuclear program and other military facilities, which are bombed by the Israeli Air Force, as well as the headquarters of senior leaders in the Iranian Revolutionary Guards and Iranian leaders linked to the nuclear program, as well as the firing platforms of Iranian missiles.

A spokesman for the Israeli occupation army announced the assassination of the commander of the Iranian Revolutionary Guards, Amir Ali Haji Zada, and the liquidation of the Supreme Air Force Command with him, as a result of the surprising Israeli attack on Iran during the early hours of this morning.

He explained in a press conference that the Israeli Intelligence Branch monitored a gathering of the Revolutionary Guards Supreme Command for the Revolutionary Guards at an underground headquarters in preparation for attacking Israel, and that the Israeli forces attacked the headquarters that included the commander of the Revolutionary Guards Air Force, Amir Ali Haji Zadeh, along with other senior officials.
