The Saudi Foreign Minister, Prince Faisal bin Farhan, stressed the importance of European countries’ recognition of the State of Palestine.

In response to the question of the Arab/Al -Hadath correspondent during a press conference in Amman, today, Sunday, the European positions towards Israel are not sufficient, stressing that the war must stop.

He also considered that “whoever sees that the two -state solution is the option to recognize the state of Palestine immediately.”

In addition, the international community urged the vision of the reformist approach to the Palestinian Authority. He stressed that Israel is working to undermine the Palestinian Authority in the West Bank.

“It shows its extremism”

He also considered that the Israeli government’s refusal to allow a delegation of Arab ministers to visit the occupied West Bank shows its extremism and its rejection of peace.

In turn, the Jordanian Foreign Minister, Ayman Al -Safadi, stressed the importance of the international community taking practical steps towards a two -state solution.

He also saw that preventing the visit of the joint delegation to the West Bank is evidence of the arrogance of the Israeli government and its indifference to international law. It is “the extremist Israeli government that kills children that prevented the delegation from visiting Ramallah.”

The Egyptian Foreign Minister, Badr Abdel -Ati, also stressed that Tel Aviv’s position indicates extremist arrogance and confirms that there is no real partner for peace. He added that the Arab countries are continuing to confront all plans to displace the Palestinians from their land with full force.

These statements came during a joint press conference of Saudi foreign ministers, Jordan, Egypt and Bahrain in Amman.

The members of the Ministerial Committee assigned to the joint Arab Islamic Summit on Gaza arrived yesterday evening in Amman, on a visit that was aimed at holding a coordination meeting before a visit that was scheduled to Ramallah from Amman today. However, it was postponed after Israel disrupted it by refusing to enter the delegation through the occupied West Bank atmosphere.
