Al -Fateh Club management entered into official negotiations with its counterpart in Al -Nasr, in order to renew the loan contract of international goalkeeper Nawwaf Al -Aqidi for an additional season, after the distinguished performance that the player presented during the loan period in the second half of last season, in the Saudi Roshen League competitions.
A remarkable level that brings Al -Aqidi back to the interface
Al -Aqidi, 25, joined the conquest during the last winter transfer window coming from victory on loan, and quickly succeeded in reserving a basic place inside the squad. He played 16 games with “model”, during which he maintained the cleanliness of his nets on two occasions, and received 22 goals, amid increasing praises from the fans and critics with his artistic return.
An official request from the conquest and renewed youth interest
According to the newspaper “Al -Sports”, the Al -Fateh administration sent an official letter to Al -Nasr Club, asking to extend the loan for an additional season, to be the second offer that the goalkeeper receives this summer, after the Al -Shabab Club expressed his interest in obtaining his services in the same formula.
A mysterious future and a desire to participate
Despite the extension of Al -Aqidi’s contract with Al -Nasr for two other seasons, his future is still shrouded in mystery, in light of his absolute rejection of the idea of sitting on the bench, especially behind the Brazilian Lucas Pinto, the team’s primary goalkeeper. Al -Aqidi expressed his expression explicitly during a television interview with the journalist Turki Al -Ajah, as he stressed his willingness to stay in Al -Alamy only on the condition of basic participation only.
Al -Aqidi puts two conditions for survival
Media reports stated that Al -Aqidi had submitted two requests to the victory administration to determine his fate, the first of which is to obtain guarantees with participation mainly, which seems difficult in light of the continued brilliance of Pinto. As for the second demand, it is to improve the terms of his contract financially, as the goalkeeper himself currently sees the first Saudi option in the goalkeeping center, and demands a contract that reflects this position.
