InstaPay’s application services have returned to work again after a sudden malfunction in the services and the cessation of electronic financial conversions through the application for a few hours.
Sudden malfunction in the Insta Bay application
The InstaPay service for banking transactions was exposed to a sudden technical failure today, Wednesday, which resulted in the disruption of electronic financial transfer operations through the application.
The instant payments network operating in the Egyptian banking sector began activating Insta Bay’s expenses, transfer fees and definitions of its comprehensive services supported by the Central Bank of Egypt on April 1.
This announcement of the new expenses on Insta Bay comes within the framework of the continuous commitment of the network to provide innovative and effective digital financial services that meet the needs of users, to ensure the development of the service and sustainability.
Insta Bay expenses and transfer fees
The instant payment network for the Insta Bay application has determined the new expenses for conversion via the Insta Bay application to be 0.1% of the transaction value, with a minimum of 50 piasters and a maximum of 20 Egyptian pounds per treatment.
Insta Bay will allow users in Egypt 10 inquiries about the balance or detection of the brief account for free for each customer, provided that a fee of 50 piasters is applied to each additional inquiry.
The move comes in light of the great expansion in the Insta Bay application since its launch in April 2022, as transfer and inquiry services have been provided for free for the past three years.
