At dawn on Saturday, the evacuation of Bahraini citizens stranded in Iran will be completed, as part of a joint coordination between the Ministry of Foreign Affairs and the “Al -Mujtaba Travel and Tourism” campaign, where the first batch of 197 citizens is scheduled to arrive in Bahrain tomorrow morning, after leaving Turkmenistan airport Friday evening.
One of those in charge of the campaign said in a statement to “Al -Watan”, that the scheduled flight will leave Turkmenistan airport at ten in the evening, heading to Fayoum Airport in the Arab Republic of Egypt, and from there citizens will be transferred to the Kingdom of Bahrain.
He pointed out that the campaign will receive this evening a new list of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs, which includes about 360 Bahraini citizens, in preparation for arranging additional evacuation trips in the coming days, stressing that the “Al -Mujtaba” campaign is the only party to which coordination is officially coordinated in these efforts.
These operations come within the framework of the ongoing endeavors made by the Ministry of Foreign Affairs to ensure the return of all Bahraini citizens stuck abroad to the homeland, in light of the current circumstances, and in order to ensure their safety and provide the necessary support for them.
