The Prime Minister started the meeting, congratulating President Abdel -Fattah El -Sisi, President of the Republic, and to the groups of the Egyptian people on the occasion of the nearby New Year’s New Year, calling on the Almighty to restore this occasion and our country enjoy more stability and prosperity, and all the peoples of the Arab and Islamic nations.
The Prime Minister renewed the Egyptian state’s welcome for the announcement of a ceasefire between Iran and Israel.
The Prime Minister pointed out, during the meeting, to a number of messages and the principles of the Egyptian state regarding its external relations affirmed by His Excellency President Abdel Fattah El -Sisi, the President of the Republic during his recent contacts with a number of leaders and international officials, including Egypt’s categorical refusal and its condemnation of any actions that affect the sovereignty of states, especially the brothers from the Arab and Islamic countries, this is in addition to welcoming a ceasefire agreement between Iran and Israel To push towards comprehensive political solutions to stabilize this agreement and adhere to it, in cooperation and coordination with the various international parties concerned, in a way that contributes to alleviating the escalation of the escalation in the regional scene, and not to put in the region to chaos and comprehensive violence.
In the same context, and with regard to the efforts to deal with the repercussions of this war on the Egyptian affairs, the Prime Minister noted that starting from next Friday morning, the pumping of gas will be resumed for a number of factories that have stopped during the past days, affected by the lack of gas supplies, stressing the state’s keenness to provide various requirements of the productive process, in an effort to continue production and push it to achieve more rates and economic and social goals.
The Prime Minister moved, during the meeting, to talk about the field tours he undertook during this week, which included the inspection of the work of the infrastructure preparations for the import of natural gas in the “Sokhna” area, to receive the “change” ships, in a way that contributes to enhancing the ability of the national network of natural gas, and to meet the various consumer and productive requirements.
The Prime Minister also referred to his tour of a number of factories in 6th of October City, which included visiting the first factory in Egypt and the Middle East to manufacture sonar and magnetic resonance devices, as well as inspecting a factory for manufacturing television and mobile devices, reaffirming in this regard, the full support of the state in the industrial sector, and work to provide more facilities and stimuli that would contribute to the growth and development of this The promising sector, which is one of the most important pillars of the Egyptian economy to achieve more economic goals, confirming the continuous endeavor to localize many strategic industries locally, by strengthening the participation of local and foreign private sector institutions in implementing many new projects, and expanding existing projects.
