Dr. Mustafa Madbouly, Prime Minister, continued the executive position of the experimental operation of the project to develop the Giza Pyramids.

This came during the Madbouly meeting, with Sherif Fathi, Minister of Tourism and Antiquities, Engineer Adel Al -Najjar, Governor of Giza, Dr. Hind Abdel Halim, Deputy Governor of Giza, and Dr. Mohamed Ismail, Secretary General of the Supreme Council of Antiquities

Experimental operation of the project to develop the Giza Pyramids system

The Prime Minister started the meeting, by confirming the keenness on the continuous follow -up of the executive position of the experimental operation of the project to develop the Pyramids visit system, and to check on the application and implementation of the various components of the project, in order to ensure that the tourist gets a distinct experience during his visit to the pyramids.

The Minister of Tourism and Antiquities said, during the meeting, that various matters are currently going stable within the framework of the experimental operation of the project to develop the pyramid visit system, reviewing the details of the contract with the operating company, and following up the implementation of its various provisions.

Counselor Mohamed Al -Homsani, the spokesperson for the Presidency of the Council of Ministers, explained that the meeting witnessed a review of the executive position of the experimental operation procedures for the project to develop the Giza Pyramids visiting system, including procedures for providing services to visitors within the archaeological area, which included the establishment of a new visitor center at a high level to receive visitors, and rest stations that include places equipped for sitting and toilets, in addition to many bazaars, shops and restaurants in places Different, as well as providing free internet services within the archaeological area.

Al -Homsani added that the meeting also dealt with efforts to eliminate the random presence of vehicles and the protection of antiquities through several measures, including the establishment of the position of vehicles – a garage – at the visitor center to accommodate vehicles for visitors, as well as the adoption of a transportation system within the archaeological area that depends on the electrical buses.
