The Ministry of Petroleum and Mineral Resources announced the support of the hospitals of the Ministry of Health and the most in need of 11 fixed nurseries, 2 mobile nurseries, and 8 industrial breathing devices for newborns and some other devices, in the governorates of North Sinai – Qena – the Red Sea – Alexandria, in addition to supporting Al -Nassa Hospital and children of Minya University with 8 nurseries and medical devices from the Petroleum Hospital in Alexandria and the medical center for workers in the oil sector In Cairo, in order to provide a distinguished medical service to improve the health conditions of the most needy societies.
The oil sector provides hospitals with the Ministry of Health with nurseries and breathing devices for newborns
This comes within the framework of the social responsibility strategy for the oil sector and close cooperation between the oil sector and civil society institutions to support the Egyptian society and in the interest of the Ministry of Petroleum and Mineral Resources to develop the areas where the sector companies are located, and under the patronage of Dr. Khaled Abdel Ghaffar, Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Health and Population and Engineer Karim Badawi, Minister of Petroleum and Mineral Resources.
The project has contributed companies (General Petroleum Company – marine Petroleum Services PMS – Iberum – Medab – Ask – Amal Petroleum) as supervisory funds.
The delivery ceremony of the devices to the Ministry of Health, Eng. Yasmine Naguib, and Fatima Ibrahim, representatives of the Ministry of Petroleum and Mineral Resources, Eng. Medhat Shaban, Assistant CEO of the Authority for Social Responsibility, Engineer Ahmed Abdel Sattar, Chairman of the Board of Directors of Asbic Company, Dr. Tamer Helmy, Director General of the Petroleum Hospital in Alexandria and Dr. Ruba Sami, Director of Civilization at the Ministry of Health and Population, as well as directors of general social responsibility In joint stock companies and some civil community leaders.
These projects come within the framework of the Ministry of Petroleum and Mineral Resources keenness to cooperate with state institutions with the aim of implementing social responsibility projects in various parts of Egypt.
