In the presence of Dr. Abdullatif bin Rashid Al Zayani, Minister of Foreign Affairs, the permanent mission of the Kingdom of Bahrain to the United Nations in New York celebrated the Kingdom’s non-permanent membership victory in the UN Security Council for the period from (2026-2027).
On this occasion, the Foreign Minister expressed his sincere congratulations to His Majesty the Great King, His Royal Highness the Crown Prince and Prime Minister, and to the people of Bahrain and all employees of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs for this prominent historical achievement, which reflects the confidence of the countries of the world in the Kingdom of Bahrain and its appreciation for the wise and effective foreign policy.
The Minister of Foreign Affairs praised the tangible efforts made by the mission led by Ambassador Jamal Faris Al -Ruwaie, head of the mission, and all its employees, including diplomats and administrators, and the efforts of the work team in the ministry, and the distinguished diplomatic work that they crowned, praise be to God, with a deserved victory that reflects the position of the Kingdom of Bahrain to the international community.
For his part, Ambassador Jamal Faris Al -Ruwaie expressed his gratitude and appreciation to the Minister of Foreign Affairs for the support and support received by the permanent mission in New York to perform its diplomatic role and duties in the General Assembly, the Security Council and specialized international organizations, thanking the members of the mission for their cooperation and continuous work to complete the diplomatic tasks of the mission to the fullest and best.
