The Official Gazette published a new decision issued by President Abdel Fattah El -Sisi, regarding the final approval of the law regulating the issuance of the legal fatwa, and thus the law becomes a law in force in the state.
The law defined only 6 bodies specialized in the legal fatwa, which is the Senior Scholars Authority in Al -Azhar, the Islamic Research Academy in Al -Azhar, Al -Azhar International Center for Electronic Fatwa, the Egyptian Iftaa House, the joint committees established under the provisions of the law, imams of the Ministry of Awqaf, provided that imprisonment is 6 months for violators and a fine of 100 thousand pounds for violators.

Institutions, press and media outlets, websites, social media account accounts and contents are committed to when publishing or broadcasting legal fatwas are issued by the specialists in accordance with the provisions of this law, as well as when organizing programs for the legal fatwa or hosting persons for legal advisory to be among the specialists in accordance with Article (۲) of this law, all in accordance with the controls determined by the executive regulations of this law.
