Ali Abdel -Hussein Al -Asfour, Governor of the Northern Governorate, received, Mr. Zakaria Al -Kazim, President of the Bahrain Association for the Care of Skiller, to discuss aspects of joint cooperation between the province and the association in the voluntary, social and health fields.
During the meeting, the governor praised the efforts made by the Bahrain Sceller Association in providing support and care for those with Skille disease and their families, stressing the northern province’s keenness to support joint initiatives and projects that contribute to promoting volunteer, community and health work, in line with the national vision in promoting the quality of life and community service.
During the meeting, a number of proposed initiatives and projects that contribute to improving the services provided to patients were discussed, as well as enhancing the culture of volunteer work and community partnership.
For his part, Zakaria Al -Kazim expressed his thanks and appreciation to the governor for his continuous interest and support for the activities of the association, stressing that this cooperation constitutes a great moral boost for patients and their families, and contributes to achieving the association’s goals in providing them with the necessary support and raising the level of societal awareness of the disease.
