The Ministry of Awqaf has determined the subject of the next Friday sermon, corresponding to June 13, 2025 AD, 17 Dhu al -Hijjah 1446 AH, entitled: The homelands are not a handful of dust, as part of its advocacy plan to emphasize the values of national affiliation and clarify the danger of extremist thought on the individual and society.
The next Friday sermon entitled the homelands is not a handful of dust
The Ministry stressed in an official statement that the aim of this sermon is to raise awareness of the importance of preserving the mind from everything that spoils it, stressing that the most dangerous thing that corrupts the mind is the extremist thought that seeks to destabilize the homelands and distort the correct religious concepts.
Endowments explained that the sermon will address the true meaning of the homeland, and that it is not just a geographical area or a handful of dust, but rather an entity that has rights and has duties, and every individual in society must preserve and defend it, and warns against everyone who seeks to demolish it or undermine its security.
The Ministry stressed that the imams assigned to the sermon will abide by the text approved by the ministry, while adhering to the specified time, and taking into account the health and time conditions of worshipers, within the framework of the controls regulating the work of mosques.
This sermon comes in the context of the continuous efforts of the Ministry of Endowments to confront extremist thought with the argument and the statement, and to enhance the moderate concepts of religion, and to confirm that the love of the country and the work for it is an integral part of the correct Islamic faith.
