The Ministry of Industry and Trade has called on Bahraini manufacturers to register in the platform for requests and offers of Arab industrial and mining products (APIP.ONLINE), which was launched at the initiative of the Arab Organization for Industrial Development, Standardization and Mining, with the aim of linking Arab manufacturers to the opportunities available in Arab markets, which contributes to enhancing economic integration and increasing the volume of trade exchange, within the framework of enhancing industrial and infringing cooperation between Arab countries.
In this regard, Dr. Khaled Fahd Al -Alawi, Assistant Undersecretary for the Development of Industry at the Ministry of Industry and Trade, stressed that this platform is an exceptional opportunity for Bahraini manufacturers to display their products at the Arab level, and to identify the needs of regional markets in the industrial and mining sector, to benefit from available opportunities and enhance their presence in the Arab markets.
Al-Alawi pointed out that this step is in line with the strategy of the industry sector (2022-2026), which focuses on supporting national exports, opening the way for Bahraini manufacturers to expand regionally and competing for purchase agreements.
He added that the Ministry of Industry and Trade seeks through this platform to continue to push regional cooperation and achieve integration between the Arab industrial sectors, praising the manufacturing capabilities in the Kingdom of Bahrain that possess the capabilities and experiences that qualify it to compete in the Arab and international.
It is worth noting that the platform for requests and offers of Arab industrial and mining products currently includes the data of more than 60 thousand industrial and mining facilities and more than 900 investment opportunities from 21 Arab countries, which provides a comprehensive database for industrial and mining products and needs in the region.
