Dr. Manal Awad, Minister of Local Development, announced the launch of the second phase of the 26th wave to remove encroachments on state property lands and agricultural lands today, which is being implemented in all governorates of the Republic in cooperation with the governorates, security directorates, states, and all the executive agencies and the Supreme Land Recovery Committee.
The Minister of Local Development indicated that the second stage of the current wave continues until June 27 and aims to remove cases of infringement of those who fail to pay the state’s dues, or modern encroachments on state property lands, whether by building or agriculture, as well as the illegal spatial variables.
Dr. Manal Awad stressed the importance of good cooperation and coordination between the executive bodies in the governorates and the concerned authorities through the committee formed to follow up the wave of removals in each governorate and the necessity of combining all efforts, confronting all the forms and images of encroachments, and taking all necessary legal measures against violators to achieve the target from the second stage of the 26 wave in order to preserve the right of the state and future generations.
The Minister of Local Development directed the Center for the National Emergency and Public Safety Network in the Ministry and the Operations Chamber and Crisis Management with continuous follow -up with the governorates to overcome any obstacles and not tolerate the confrontation of all violations and removal in the cradle of any new encroachments in implementation of the law.
It is worth noting that the 26th wave is implemented in three stages, the first stage started from 10 to 30 May 2025, followed by the second stage from June 10 to June 27, and concludes with the third stage from 5 to 25 July 2025.
