Engineer Hassan Al -Khatib, Minister of Investment and Foreign Trade, Hassan Al -Shabrawi, President of the Axa Egypt company operating in the field of health insurance and life insurance, met, where the meeting reviewed the opportunities and ingredients of investment in Egypt in the insurance sector, and ways to enhance Egypt’s position were discussed as a major axis for the insurance industry in the continent of Africa.

The minister stressed that the state pays great attention to developing the insurance sector because of its vital role in stimulating the investment environment, noting the importance of integrating modern digital solutions and effective governance in this vital sector, in order to enhance the efficiency of services provided to citizens and investors alike.
Al -Khatib explained that the government is working to attract quality capital that adds a real value to the national economy, noting that cooperation with global institutions reflects the confidence of investors in the Egyptian market and enhancing its ability to grow and expand towards new markets in the African continent.
The minister expressed the state’s aspiration to support efforts aimed at creating major regional insurance entities, stressing that Egypt possesses all the human ingredients and infrastructure necessary to turn into a regional center for the insurance industry in Africa.
“Al -Khatib” pointed to the state’s keenness to convert Egypt into a regional center for the insurance industry in Africa, while emphasizing the importance of long -term investment that serves future generations, and establishes Egypt’s position on the global insurance map.
For his part, Hassan Al -Shabrawi explained that the company is one of the largest international institutions working in the field of insurance, and has a wide presence in international markets, especially in Latin America, Africa and the Middle East, with a special focus on the Egyptian market, which represents an important axis in the company’s future expansion plans.
He pointed out that the company occupies a local advanced position in the fields of health insurance and life insurance, and it has invested in developing health care services by establishing a series of “One Health” clinics, stressing the company’s commitment to support the state’s efforts to improve health structure and enhance insurance services.
