Engineer Sherif El -Sherbiny, Minister of Housing, Utilities and Urban Communities, and the team Ahmed Khaled Hassan Saeed, Governor of Alexandria, inspected a project to establish a bridge 45 (Sadat axis) at two levels to connect Sadat Street (45) to the international coastal road, at the intersection with Mustafa Kamel Street in Alexandria, accompanied by officials of the Ministry and the governorate and head of the Central Agency for Reconstruction.
Providing entertainment activities at the Sadat axis in Alexandria
The Minister of Housing and the Governor of Alexandria toured the project site, which is implemented by the Central Development Agency of the Ministry of Housing through the Northern Coast Reconstruction Authority, and its total length is about (2.6) km (3 traffic lanes in each direction “level”), the first level links Sadat Street in the direction of the coastal international road, and the upper level is connected from the coastal international road to Sadat Street with the link towards the field of the watch.
Engineer Sherif El -Sherbiny explained that the project comes within the framework of the plan to develop the eastern Alexandria region, and given that Sadat Street (45) is one of the most important traffic axes in Alexandria and links the city to the coastal international road and the agricultural road at the intersection with Mustafa Kamel Street and the Mahmoudiyah axis, and is considered the main entrance to the eastern city of Alexandria and the Corniche Road.
He directed the Minister of Housing to pay the project due to its importance in that it links a number of major axes, as well as interest in the work of the site’s coordination and removing the waste from the project site first -hand, and the field presence and permanent coordination with the relevant authorities for the speed of completion of the project.
He also directed the Minister of Housing and the Governor of Alexandria to provide a green surface area that includes entertainment activities to be an outlet for the residents and pioneers of the region after the completion of the implementation of the project, and contribute to improving the visual vision in the vicinity of the project.
For his part, the Governor of Alexandria stressed that the project is one of the most important road projects that are being implemented in the governorate, as it works to solve traffic jams in the area of the intersection of Mohamed Anwar Sadat Street with Mustafa Kamel Street, especially since Mohamed Anwar Sadat Street is considered a major entrance to the city, and connects the city to the international coastal road, the agricultural road, the Mahmoudiyah axis, and the Corniche road.
Major General Mahmoud Nassar, head of the Central Development Agency added: The project also aims to absorb traffic sizes added to the street in both directions and reduce the times Presidential in June 2023.
