Dr. Abdul Latif bin Rashid Al Zayani, Minister of Foreign Affairs, received today at the Ministry’s headquarters, His Excellency Mrs. Okay Asako, Japan’s Ambassador to the Kingdom of Bahrain.
During the meeting, the close friendship relations and the growing partnership that brings together the Kingdom of Bahrain and Japan were reviewed, within the framework of joint keenness to enhance bilateral cooperation in various fields to serve the common interests of the two friendly countries.
During the meeting, the developments of the current regional situation were reviewed, and emphasized the importance of intensifying regional and international efforts aimed at reducing tension, stopping escalation, and pushing towards the resumption of negotiations between the United States of America and the Islamic Republic of Iran in a way that contributes to achieving security, peace and stability in the region.
The meeting was attended by Mrs. Munira Nofal Al -Dossary, Head of the Asian and Pacific Affairs Sector at the Ministry of Foreign Affairs.
