Dr. Sheikh Abdullah bin Ahmed Al Khalifa, Minister of Communications and Communications, met with Mr. Philip Tabaru, Minister of Transport in the French Republic, during the activities of the Paris International Air Exhibition 2025, which is currently being held at the Luburgé Airport in the French capital, Paris.
During the meeting, the friendship and cooperation relations that bring together the Kingdom of Bahrain in the French Republic were reviewed, and ways of enhancing bilateral coordination in the fields of civil aviation, ports, marine and land transport were reviewed, in order to achieve common interests and keep pace with the development trends of both friendly countries.
The Minister affirmed the Kingdom of Bahrain’s keenness to expand the areas of cooperation with the French Republic, especially in the aviation, transportation and logistical services sectors, pointing to the importance of building on the existing partnerships to develop strategic projects that contribute to achieving sustainable economic growth and exchanging advanced technical expertise.
For his part, Minister Philip Tabaro praised the level of Bahraini -French relations, and with the participation of the active Kingdom of Bahrain at the Paris Aviation Fair, stressing his country’s support to enhance bilateral cooperation and expand its horizons in a way that serves common interests, and contributes to the development of the transport sector according to best international practices.
