His Majesty King Hamad bin Isa Al Khalifa, the king of the country, may God protect and preserve him, received, in the Safariya Palace this day, His Excellency Mr. Stephen Craig Bondi, the US ambassador to the Kingdom, and the team, George Wikov, the commander of the Naval Forces of the US Central Command, commander of the Fifth Fleet.
During the meeting, His Majesty the great King expressed the pride of the Kingdom of Bahrain with its historical and close relations that bring it in the United States of America, whose pillars have been based on trust, respect and joint coordination, noting its majesty of the continuous progress witnessed by bilateral cooperation, especially in terms of military coordination, defense cooperation and in various areas of development as two friends and two allies.
