In a strange incident that sparked the controversy in India, the police arrested a woman accused of deceiving seven men and marrying them in a row, before they disappeared after the seizure of “Managoutra”, a golden wedding necklace with a large symbolism in Hindu culture. The surprise is that her arrest came hours before her eighth wedding.
The accused, who is called Rishma Chandraskran, is in her thirties and a two -year -old mother, was seized on Friday in a beauty salon in the Arianado area, while she was preparing for the new wedding, according to local media officials.
It is noteworthy that the groom himself was the one who led to her arrest, after he was suspicious of her actions, especially after a strange visit she made to the home of one of his friends, where his wife noticed a suspicious behavior of Rishma, and the groom, who was quick to inform the police, warned.
The groom had known to Risma through a marriage site last month, after communicating with a woman who presented herself as a medium. During their first meeting in a commercial center in Kotaiam, Risma recounted the story that she is an orphan and does not have relatives, and that this is the reason for her family’s absence from the wedding scheduled for June 6.
But doubts increased on the eve of the wedding, and when she reached the beauty salon, her bag was secretly searched, to find documents that reveal multiple previous marriages, which prompted the groom to call the police immediately.
“Rishma is now in detention, and her detention has been officially recorded, and she will be presented to the local court soon,” the Indian Asian News Agency (IANS) quoted a security source as saying.
The source added that the woman was carrying out her operations with a simple and effective plan: after completing the wedding ceremonies, the golden necklace receives, then disappears within a few days without leaving any way to communicate with it.
The security source confirmed that they started contacting the men in the past, indicating that she was planning two additional wedding in the coming months.
