The Israeli occupation army announced that it suffers from a shortage of more than 10,000 soldiers, including about 6 thousand in the combat units, while continuing its intensive campaign in the Gaza Strip.
“This is a real operational need, so we take all the necessary steps,” said Eve Davirin’s spokesman for the occupation army.
A crisis facing the occupation army
This came in response to a question about the recruitment of militant Jews in the ranks of the Israeli army, according to the Times of Israel.
Last month, Israeli media reported that thousands of Israeli reserve soldiers, who served in Gaza suffer from mental disorders, and that more than 9,000 soldiers underwent psychological treatment as a result of the repercussions of the war.
Reports stated that the Israeli occupation army, in light of the severe shortage of soldiers, was forced to summon soldiers from reserves despite their suffering from mental illnesses, and the past month, the Israeli government approved a decision to summon up to 450,000 reserve soldiers.
