Ahmed Al -Shatouri, head of the local unit of the Tahta Center and City, north of Sohag Governorate, continued the intensive evening campaigns that are implemented in the city of Tahta and its village councils, to follow up the commitment of shops, workshops and commercial activities to the legally prescribed summer closing dates.

Al -Shattouri stressed the continued field follow -up during the evening period, stressing the need to adhere to the application of procedures for rationalizing electricity consumption, in implementation of the Minister of Local Development Resolution No. 456 of 2020 regarding the dates of open and closing.
The campaigns were attended by the deputy heads of the center, heads of villages, electricity and public lighting officials, occupations officials, financial and administrative inspection members, and follow -up, as well as local units teams and equipment.
Follow -up and implementation work continues on a daily basis, taking the necessary legal measures against violators, and this was within the framework of the directives of Major General Dr. Abdel Fattah Siraj, the governor of Sohag, and in order to apply the law and preserve the public interest.
