Engineer Ayman Attia, Governor of Qaliubiya, conducted an inspection tour of Al -Rashrah Street in the Sharq Shubra Al -Khaimah neighborhood, which is being developed with funding from the investment plan of the Ministry of Local Development, as the development includes paving work and the work of a distinctive traffic axis linking the Ismailia Canal Road to the axis of Al -Asar.

This project comes within the framework of the Qaliubiya Governorate plan to develop infrastructure and improve the services provided to citizens, and to turn Al -Rashrah Street into a distinctive traffic axis linking the Ismailia Canal Road to the axis of Al -Asar, which contributes to facilitating traffic and alleviating congestion in the region, where Al -Rashrah Street, which is 1800 meters long for long years of severe neglect and the deterioration of the infrastructure.
The street has witnessed many encroachments and violations, as the violating stalls and shops that hindered the traffic and distorted the general appearance have spread, and the executive bodies in the governorate have removed during the past two months all the violations and violations on the street campus.
The development includes paving the entire street, burying high -pressure electricity cables, creating new sidewalks, and providing the street with modern lighting columns.
The governor also directed the establishment of an alternative civilized market for the removed kiosks, in order to provide suitable places for street vendors.
During the tour, the governor inspected the work of placing the age layer along the road, as the governor stressed the payment of works and work with the system of rods to deliver the road according to the schedules specified for it.
This came in the presence of Dr. Iman Ryan, Deputy Governor, Major General Ihab Hassan Siraj El -Din, Secretary -General, Major General Tariq Maher, Assistant Secretary -General, and Mohamed Al -Bassiouni, head of the East Shubra Al -Khaimah neighborhood.
