Engineer Adel Al -Najjar, Governor of Giza, held an expanded meeting to follow up the current executive position of public facilities in the industrial zone in Abu Rawash, which includes networks and lines of drinking water, sanitation, electricity and roads.

Al -Najjar pointed out that the development of the industrial zone in Abu Rawash comes within the framework of an integrated plan implemented by the Giza Governorate in cooperation with many concerned authorities to update the infrastructure of industrial areas and provide an advanced investment environment that meets the aspirations of investors and supports the state’s direction towards comprehensive industrial development.
Al -Najjar stressed that it was agreed with the Minister of Water Resources and Irrigation on a number of mechanisms to provide water for the industrial zone in Abu Rawash, within the framework of the state’s keenness to support and develop industrial areas and create an appropriate environment to attract investment and advance production.
The governor quickly assigned the completion of the work of raising the coordinates for the site scheduled to establish a group of underground wells in the Abu Rawash region to raise the water session for the industrial zone to about 20 thousand mg/day, as an urgent solution until the completion of the implementation of the Abu Rawash water station, which is expected to provide between 150 to 250 thousand cubic meters per day of drinking water, in a way that meets the increasing needs of the province.
The Governor directed the Housing Directorate, in coordination with the drinking water and sanitation company, to receive the work implemented in the infrastructure of water and drainage projects, administratively and technically, according to technical specifications, while ensuring that the decline lines network and the completion of any notes on the executing work.
Engineer Adel Al-Najjar also stressed the need to provide executive drawings in accordance with what was done on the ground (AS-Buil), in addition to conducting the necessary technical and hydraulic tests before the final receipt of the work of infrastructure projects.
The governor stressed the need to fulfill all the required requirements from the drinking water and sanitation company in Giza to use the network, and to assign the company to preventive maintenance work and secure sites until the project is operated in full.
He also directed the governor of Giza to put forward the remaining works on serious companies, with a commitment to implement them in accordance with the approved timelines and technical specifications.
During the meeting, the governor stressed the necessity of conducting a traffic study to raise the efficiency of the lighting system in the industrial zone and coordinate with the electricity company to determine the necessary electrical nutrition sources.
In the same context, the governor commissioned the concerned authorities to conduct field previews to determine a number of major and branch roads in the priority industrial zone in preparation for studying the possibility of raising their efficiency, whether by paving in the asphalt layer or the installation of interlock tiles, according to the approved technical spaces and requirements.
The meeting was attended by Hind Abdel Halim, Deputy Governor, Mohamed Nour El -Din, Secretary General, and Mohamed Merhi, Assistant Secretary, and officials of the industrial zone, housing, facilities, property, lighting and roads.
