This comes within Egypt’s Vision 2030 and in implementation of the directives of President Abdel Fattah El -Sisi to expand the establishment of new axes and roads.
During his tour, accompanied by Major General Yasser Abdel Shafi, the governor’s aide, and the officials of the Reconstruction Authority led by Eng. Ahmed Mukhtar, the director of the Aswan region, as well as the executive leaders, Dr. Ismail Kamal stressed the need to accelerate the rates of completion of this vital project, in which the implementation rate reached 81 %, to be completed according to the time timing specified for him next January.
The Governor of Aswan praised the efforts made by the Reconstruction Authority through the implementation of works embodied in the mountains ’incision, settlement, digging, filling and replacement, and reaching the level of Al -Farma, especially since the excavation and backfilling work has been completed with a length of 18.6 km, the basis layer, and the concrete paving work with a length of 17.7 km.
He gave the governor of Aswan instructions to officials to overcome all obstacles to accelerate the implementation of the new axis, which will contribute to achieving traffic liquidity by the main roads within the city, pointing out that the heavy transport movement will be transferred with quarry materials from the waterfall / Kima / Al -Manad road outside the city, which reduces pressure on the internal roads and limits its worn with the infrastructure networks in it.
