This came during a press conference held yesterday in one of the major hotels in the United Arab Emirates, during which the opening of the first official academy of the club in the Emirate of Abu Dhabi was announced, provided that the near future witnesses the inauguration of other academies in several regions in the Emirates, within the framework of an integrated strategic plan to discover talents and export the global footballing identity of Zamalek.
The conference witnessed the presence of a number of prominent personalities, headed by Ahmed Suleiman, member of the Board of Directors of Zamalek Club, Hazem Imam, the former Zamalek star, Ziad Al -Baroudi, Director of the Club Academy, Ahmed Ghanem Sultan, Director of Zamalek Academies in the UAE, and Saeed Al -Hassani, Chairman of the Board of Directors of the company that owns the Academies project.
Ahmed Suleiman, Hazem Imam and Ziad Al -Bardawi expressed during their words their great happiness with this historical step, stressing that the opening of the Zamalek Academy in the Emirates is a natural extension of the name of the White Castle outside Egypt, and reflects the size of confidence in the club’s name and its great history, and its wide masses in the Arab world.
