Today, Dr. Abdullatif bin Rashid Al Zayani, Minister of Foreign Affairs, made a phone call to Rashid Merdouf, Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Foreign Affairs of Turkmenistan.
The Foreign Minister of Rashid Merdouf expressed thanks and appreciation of the Kingdom of Bahrain to the Turkmenan government for its estimated cooperation in these difficult circumstances, and the facilities it provided and the measures it took to facilitate the entry of Bahraini citizens to the Turkmen lands, and to facilitate their departure by air to the Kingdom of Bahrain.
During the call to continue the joint efforts and enhance cooperation and coordination between the two countries to overcome all difficulties to complete the evacuation of Bahraini citizens from Turkmenistan, in preparation for their return to the Kingdom of Bahrain in the near future.
