The Canadian County Government announced the evacuation of 21,000 residents of the province due to the wild forest fires, according to the minister’s statements in charge of managing emergency, Lisa Nilor, today.
Nilor explained that this process is one of the largest evacuations in the history of the province, calling on the residents of Manitoba and Canadians to avoid unnecessary travel. She pointed out that the actual number of displaced people may be higher, as the number announced to those registered with the Red Cross, with thousands of displaced others.
According to official reports, the boycott is witnessing 28 active fires, 10 of which are outside control, which requires extensive efforts to contain the situation and ensure the safety of the population.
