The Emirati club Khorfakkan continued its strong activity in the summer transfer market, announcing its official contract with veteran midfielder Ahmed Burman, after the end of his long journey with Al Ain Club, to become one of the most prominent deals of the team in preparation for the 2025/2026 season.
The 31 -year -old Burman’s transfer represents a large technical and moral boost for the aspiring team in strengthening its position in the elite clubs in the ADNOC Professional League.
A qualitative shift in the middle of the field
Ahmed Burman has fought a career in the eye shirt since he joined him in 2013, as he became one of the influential names on and outside the stadium, thanks to his commitment and stability. During that period, he participated in 297 games in all championships, during which he scored 5 goals and made 8 decisive passes, which reflects its value as a pivot player who is able to combine defensive roles and the play industry.
As he joined Khor Fakkan, Berman will constitute a strong addition to the midfield, because of its extensive experience at the local and continental levels, especially with his participation in continental championships accompanied by the “leader”.
Promise deals to enhance ambition
Including Berman was not the only move from the Khorfakkan administration, as it was preceded by the contract with the Cameroonian Pierre Conde, the former Dibba Al -Hosn player, as part of a plan aimed at supporting the team with high quality elements. The club also concluded another deal by including goalkeeper Rashid Ali from Al -Wahda Club, in an effort to achieve a comprehensive balance in the squad.
Khorfakkan aspires to improve his position in the new season, after he finished last season in the eighth place in the table with 33 points, collected from 9 wins, 6 draws and 11 defeats.
